🔥必考题 · The area you live in 居住地
Q1:Where do you live? Do you like the area that you live in?
I live in… I love the area that I live in. I am so lucky that we have so much to do which are very close to us! Also, there is public transportation just one block from my building. Everything is so convenient!
Q2:What are some changes in the area recently?
Over the past few years, some new restaurants have opened nearby which make eating out more convenient for everyone in the area. Also, last year, improvements were made to the park near my house. Some older trees were trimmed and some new varieties of trees were planted.
Q3:Do you know any people live in this area?
Well, I really don’t think any famous people live near me. I have never heard of or met any famous person in my neighbourhood. I guess it’s because the area I am living in is an area for middle income families, not for famous people who have much higher salaries.
Q4:Where do you like to go in that area?
Like I said earlier, there are some new restaurants in the area. They are family-style restaurants, so they are the great places to go with my family for relaxed meals. Also, the park has always been a pleasant place to go. Everything I need or want is within walking distance to my home.
Q5:What part do you love most in the place?
Well, I absolutely adore the convenience of my neighborhood! Being close to downtown means everything is within reach - there’s a subway station just 5 minutes away, and several shopping districts nearby where I can easily grab a bite, watch movies or go shopping. Oh, and the best part is the park right across my street - I often take evening walks there enjoying the lovely scenery.
Q6:Would you like to live in somewhere with completely different environmental conditions?
Definitely! While I’m quite happy with my current place, I’d love to experience different lifestyles. A coastal town particularly appeals to me - imagine waking up to ocean breezes, walking on sandy beaches, and maybe even trying some crab fishing! It would be such a refreshing change from city life, though I might miss the urban conveniences after a while.
🔥必考题 · Work or Study 工作/学习
Study:
Q1:What is your major? Why did you choose that subject?
I am majoring in International Business. I chose my major subject of study based on my aptitude in studying economics, accounting, and languages, my interest in travel, and advice from my parents and teachers. I felt this major area of study would prepare me for a career that I would find interesting and that I could be successful in.
Q2:What is the major about? Do you like it?
This year, I’m taking advanced classes in Finance, Macroeconomics, English, and Information Technology. I am also taking a class in Modern European History because I thought this would be interesting. I love my subject because it is so interesting. I find the more I learn, the more I find interesting about it! I think everything I am learning will be useful in my career.
Q3:Do you think it is difficult? Why?
Well, studying International Business can be quite challenging at times. The main difficulty lies in having to master both theoretical knowledge like trade policies and practical skills such as cross-cultural negotiation. That really makes it a difficult subject.
Q4:What do you do after classes?
To be frank, most of my after-class time gets eaten up by assignments and course preparation - that’s probably the biggest downside of my major. I typically spend 3-4 hours daily reviewing case studies or working on group projects just to keep up with the coursework.
Q5:Do you prefer to study in the morning or in the afternoon?
I prefer to study in the afternoon. I feel more alert in the afternoon than I do in the morning or the evening. I seem to be able to read, and comprehend more, in less time.
Q6:Are you looking forward to working?
I am definitely looking forward to using the things I have learned in school in my career. I’m also looking forward to making money to support myself.
Q7:Do you sometimes feel that you have to study too hard?
Absolutely! I’ve always been quite diligent with my studies - you know, even in university where many students skip previewing lessons, I still maintain this habit. Especially during exam periods, I often find myself burning the midnight oil to aim for top grades rather than just scraping by.
Work:
Q1:What work do you do?
I recently started as a research assistant at a large international advertising firm. It’s an entry level position where I find statistics about the likes and dislikes of different age groups in a specific country that our client is looking to do business in.
Q2:Why did you choose to do that type of work?
While this is not the final job that I was hoping for, it is a solid entry-level position in a firm that does the kind of work I am interested in. I enjoy gathering the statistics knowing that they will be used to make important decisions in marketing our client’s product. I feel there is a lot of room for promotion here in this company as well.
Q3:Do you miss being a student?
I didn’t think that I would, but I do. As much as I like my job and I am grateful to have it, it is a big change. I am meeting new people and learning new responsibilities; my daily schedule is very different, but I need to expect a period of adjustment.
Q4:Do you like your job?
I really enjoy my job. I think the work is interesting and look forward to learning more. I like all of the people I work with. There are two other research assistants who were hired the same time I was and I enjoy working with them.
Q5:Is your job connect to your college major?
Well, it’s a bit of both actually. I studied International Business in university, which does involve analyzing market trends and consumer behavior - skills that are somewhat relevant to my current role. However, if I’m being honest, most of the specific theories and frameworks we learned in class don’t really come into play in my day-to-day work.
Q6:Do you prefer to work in the morning or in the afternoon?
To be honest, I don’t have any choice right? After all, I have to work from morning to late in the evening. If I had to pick though, I’d say I’m definitely more productive in the afternoons. By afternoon, I’ve hit my stride mentally, though I’ll admit there’s never really a time when I’m thrilled to be working!
Q1:Do you live in the house or apartment?
I live in a high rise apartment building on the 5th floor overlooking the street with apartment buildings on either side. We have a balcony where we keep many of our plants and sometimes we’ll sit there in the evening.
Q2:Which is your favourite room in your home?
Definitely my bedroom! It’s got the comfiest bed and the coziest decor. What really makes it special though is that it’s where I keep all my favorite things: my gaming setup, novels, and everything I need for a perfect lazy weekend.
Q3:What will make your home more comfortable/happy?
Hands down, our robotic vacuum cleaner has been a game-changer. Before we got it, my mom and I had to do all the sweeping and mopping ourselves, which was such a chore. Now this little gadget zips around daily, keeping the floors spotless with zero effort from us.
Q4:How long have you live there?
I called that place home for a solid 18 years before heading off to university. It’s where all my childhood memories were made. These days I’m mostly on campus, but I still go back during holidays - it’ll always feel like my real home no matter where I live in the future.
Q5:Do you live along or with others?
I live with my parents, my sister, and my dog. Sometimes my grandparents or aunt will visit us and they stay with us in our home.
Q6:Do you plan to live there for a long time?
I’m hoping after I finish my education, I find a job and I can find my own home. Housing is expensive, so I may be home with my parents longer than I plan to be.
Q7:What do you want to change in the home?
To be honest, I’m pretty content with my current place since I’ve gotten used to it over time. But if I had to pick one thing, I’d definitely replace our wooden sofa with a plush, cushioned one. Those hard wooden surfaces are just unbearable - you can’t even relax properly after a long day!
Q1:Where is your hometown? Is that a big city or a small place?
I live in Guangzhou. It is located in the Guangdong Province. and is known as the City of Flowers. It is the third largest city in China. It has a population of over 13 million people. It’s a big place. It is the educational and cultural center of Southern China. It’s also known as the City of Flowers because there are evergreens and flowers in bloom year round because of its climate. It’s a pretty city.
Q2:How long have you lived there?
I have lived here all of my life, for eighteen years. My parents have lived here all of their lives too.
Q3:What do you like the most about your hometown?
I really like the food. The Cantonese food is excellent and there are so many other kinds of international restaurants to try. I also really enjoy Thai food.
Q4:Is there anything you dislike about it?
The humidity gets things damp in the house, so we have to use air conditioning a lot of the time. I don’t really like air conditioning, but we don’t have a choice but to use it.
Q5:Do you know the history of your hometown?
Yes, I’m from Guangzhou, a city with over 2,200 years of history! It was a major port along the ancient Maritime Silk Road and later became the only Chinese port open to foreign trade during the Qing Dynasty. Landmarks like the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall (built in the 1890s) and Zhenhai Tower (dating back to the Ming Dynasty) reflect its rich past. The city also played a key role in modern Chinese history, like the 1911 Revolution led by Sun Yat-sen.
Q6:Will you learn the history of your hometown?/Do the schools teach the history of your hometown?
Actually, not really. While we do have history classes in school, they mainly focus on broader Chinese and world history rather than local history. However, we sometimes visit local museums where we can learn about our hometown’s past through exhibitions and artifacts.
Q7:What is the most famous in your hometown?
Two things stand out: Cantonese cuisine (like dim sum and roast goose) and iconic landmarks. The Canton Tower (“Little Waist”) is now the city’s modern symbol, while the Five-Ram Statue represents its ancient legend—myth says five immortal rams brought prosperity to Guangzhou.
1 Do you look out the window at the scenery when travelling by bus or car?
Absolutely, I find it incredibly therapeutic to watch the world go by, as the shifting landscapes help me clear my mind. It’s a rare opportunity to unplug from digital distractions and simply appreciate the scenery, whether it’s a bustling cityscape or the rolling hills of the countryside.
2 Do you take photos of the scenery outside the car window?
Occasionally, I’ll snap a few shots if the view is particularly breathtaking, as I love capturing those fleeting moments. However, since the vehicle is usually in motion, the photos often end up being a bit of a blur, so I sometimes prefer to just enjoy the scenery with my own eyes. A bit of a blur: 有点模糊(精准描述在移动车厢内拍照的痛点)
3 Do you prefer the mountains or the sea?
Personally, I’m more of a mountain person, as I find the crisp air and the sense of tranquility at high altitudes incredibly refreshing. There’s something profoundly majestic about reaching a summit that a beach simply can’t replicate for me.
Do you remember your first day at secondary school?
Yeah, I remember it pretty vividly, actually. I was a bundle of nerves that morning because the campus was way bigger than my primary school, and I almost got lost trying to find my classroom. But once I sat down and started chatting with my desk mate, all that anxiety just completely faded away.
Were there any subjects that you found difficult at secondary school?
Oh, definitely. Physics was a complete nightmare for me back then. I really struggled to wrap my head around all those abstract formulas and theoretical concepts, especially things like electromagnetism. No matter how much time I spent cramming, my grades were pretty average at best. So yeah, it was definitely my Achilles’ heel.
What was your favourite subject at secondary school?
Hands down, it had to be History. I’ve always been fascinated by how past events shaped the modern world, and my teacher made the lessons super engaging through vivid storytelling rather than just forcing us to memorize dates. It honestly felt less like a class and more like listening to an incredible story every week.
Is there anything you miss about your secondary school?
Definitely. I really miss the carefree vibe and having my best friends right there with me every single day. We used to spend our lunch breaks just hanging out, grabbing street food outside the campus gate, and talking about absolute nonsense. Looking back, life was so much simpler back then without all the adult responsibilities and daily hustle.
🆕新题 · Computers/tablets 电脑/平板电脑
Would you like to use a computer or tablet?
Definitely a computer. While tablets are super handy for light reading or streaming videos on the go, a computer is far more versatile when it comes to serious work. I really need a physical keyboard and proper multitasking capabilities to boost my productivity, so a laptop is still my go-to device.
In what conditions would you use a computer or tablet?
It really depends on the task at hand. I’d definitely opt for a computer when I need to do heavy-duty work like writing long documents, multitasking, or running software, because I need a physical keyboard and processing power. On the flip side, I prefer a tablet when I’m on the go or just unwinding—like watching movies, reading e-books, or casually sketching on the couch, where portability matters most.
When was the first time you used a computer or tablet?
I reckon I was around seven or eight years old, back in primary school. It was during an IT class, and we were introduced to these big, bulky desktop computers. We mostly just learned basic typing and played around with simple programs like MS Paint, but to my childhood self, it felt like absolute magic.
What would your life be like without computers or tablets?
Honestly, it’s hard to even imagine, but I guess my routine would be much slower and more old-school. I’d probably rely entirely on paper notebooks and spend hours in physical libraries hunting for information. On the plus side, I’d be far less distracted by constant notifications and enjoy a lot more quality time offline.
Do you ever write paper letters?
Rarely nowadays, to be honest. Instant messaging is just so fast and convenient, so I mostly rely on digital communication. However, I still write handwritten notes or cards on special occasions like birthdays, just to add a personal touch and give the message more sentimental value.
Did you receive any handwritten letters when you were a child?
Yes, I did, mostly from pen pals and relatives living in other cities. Back then, receiving a physical letter was always a highlight of my week. Opening the envelope and seeing someone’s actual handwriting brought a real sense of anticipation that you just can’t get from a modern text message.
Do you prefer handwritten letters or instant messaging or texting?
I definitely lean towards instant messaging for daily communication because it’s fast, efficient, and convenient. However, I still have a soft spot for handwritten letters when expressing sincere emotions, as they carry a level of warmth and personal effort that a quick digital message simply can’t replicate.
Do you prefer writing letters or sending emails?
I definitely favor sending emails for day-to-day communication because of their efficiency and instant delivery. That said, I still appreciate writing traditional letters on special occasions, as they carry far more emotional resonance and show that you’ve put genuine thought and effort into the message.
Do you think paper letters will completely disappear in the future?
No, I don’t think they’ll completely vanish, though their role has definitely shifted. While digital channels dominate daily communication, paper letters have evolved into a nostalgic gesture reserved for special milestones. They offer a level of tangible authenticity and sentimental value that digital messages simply can’t replace.
Do you like eating vegetables?
Yes, absolutely. I make a conscious effort to include fresh greens in my daily meals because they are packed with essential nutrients and dietary fiber. Plus, they add a crisp, refreshing texture that really elevates everyday dishes.
Did you dislike eating any vegetables when you were little?
Yes, definitely. Like many children, I was a bit of a picky eater and used to dread eating bitter greens like spinach and broccoli. Back then, I couldn’t stand their flavor, but my taste buds evolved as I grew up, and those same vegetables eventually became an acquired taste.
Do people often grow vegetables by themselves?
It’s not overly common in urban areas due to space constraints, but home gardening is definitely gaining traction. While most people rely on supermarkets for convenience, a growing number of urbanites grow herbs or small crops on balconies. For many, it’s less about self-sufficiency and more of a therapeutic pastime that provides fresh, organic produce.
Where do people usually buy vegetables?
Most people get their vegetables from traditional wet markets or local grocery stores, where the produce is usually fresher and more budget-friendly. However, supermarkets are also popular for their convenience, and nowadays, on-demand grocery apps have become a go-to option for busy urbanites who prefer doorstep delivery.
What kinds of vegetables are popular in your country?
Leafy greens like Chinese cabbage and spinach, alongside tomatoes and cucumbers, are absolute staples in our daily diet. They are incredibly versatile and form the backbone of everyday cooking, whether featured in quick stir-fries, rich soups, or refreshing cold dishes.
Do you like buying shoes?
Yes, definitely. I wouldn’t call myself a sneakerhead, but I do enjoy shopping for shoes that complement different outfits. Finding a stylish, well-fitted pair always gives me a subtle boost of confidence.
Do you prefer sports shoes or fashionable shoes?
Comfort is definitely my top priority. Since I’m usually on my feet for hours every day, I always opt for supportive, cushioned footwear. For me, functionality outweighs aesthetics hands down.
Have you ever bought shoes online?
All the time. E-commerce platforms offer a far broader selection and better deals than physical stores. Sizing can occasionally be tricky, but as long as there’s a hassle-free return policy, it’s my go-to method.
Do you spend a lot of money on shoes?
Not usually. I tend to stick to a budget, though I don’t mind splurging occasionally on a high-quality pair of running shoes or formal footwear that offers long-term durability.
Do you think your city is clean?
On the whole, yes. I’d say my city is pretty well-maintained. The local government has invested heavily in waste management and daily street sweeping, especially around the downtown core. However, like most major cities, there is still room for improvement in certain outskirts where littering occasionally pops up.
Would people just throw rubbish on the street?
Not usually, as most residents have a solid sense of civic duty. That said, some individuals still resort to littering, often out of sheer laziness or when public bins are scarce. Ultimately, whether someone throws trash on the street boils down to personal habits and public awareness.
How do you feel when you see someone throw rubbish on the street?
Honestly, it makes my blood boil. It’s deeply frustrating to see someone blatantly disregard public hygiene, especially when street cleaners work so hard to keep our environment tidy. To me, littering shows a complete lack of civic responsibility and basic respect for the community.
Do you think it’s easy to teach people not to throw rubbish around?
Not really. While raising awareness is simple, changing ingrained habits is remarkably difficult. People often default to convenience unless there’s a strong deterrent. Therefore, simply telling people not to litter isn’t enough—it requires a combination of continuous civic education, accessible trash facilities, and rigorous enforcement to build true civic discipline.
What do you do with garbage when you are on the street?
I always hold onto it until I spot a public trash bin. If there aren’t any around, I’ll just tuck it into my bag or pocket until I get home or reach somewhere with a bin. I can’t stand littering, so I always make sure to dispose of it properly no matter what.
How important do you think it is to keep the city clean?
It’s absolutely vital. A clean city isn’t just about visual aesthetics; it directly impacts public health by preventing disease outbreaks and controlling pest populations. Beyond health, a well-maintained environment boosts the city’s appeal to tourists and investors, while fostering a strong sense of civic pride and improving the overall quality of life for its residents.
How do you recycle things like paper and plastic?
At home, I usually start by sorting waste at the source. For plastic containers, I make sure to rinse out food residue so they don’t contaminate the batch. As for paper and cardboard, I always flatten the boxes to save space before dropping everything into dedicated recycling receptacles in my neighborhood.
What do you usually do with your relatives?
We tend to organize short weekend outings or picnics whenever our schedules align. Since a few of my relatives live nearby, we also like to hang out casually at local cafés to chat and stay in touch.
Do you think it is important to meet your relatives regularly?
Not necessarily on a strict schedule, but keeping in touch is crucial. Since everyone has a packed schedule nowadays, I think quality time during holidays or special occasions matters much more than meeting up every week.
Do you think it is easier to meet relatives nowadays than in the past?
Yes, definitely. Modern high-speed transport makes traveling long distances much faster, and instant messaging apps make it effortless to coordinate get-togethers, even on short notice.
How often do you see your relatives?
Honestly, quite frequently—at least once or twice a week. Since most of my extended family lives in the same city, we often drop by each other’s places for dinner or meet up over the weekend.
Do you collect things?
To be honest, I used to collect fridge magnets whenever I traveled, just as nice souvenirs. But nowadays, I’m more into saving digital files, like e-books or online course materials, since they take up zero physical space.
Are there any things you have kept from your childhood?
Yes, I’ve kept a few storybooks and photo albums from when I was little. They hold a lot of sentimental value, so even though they look a bit worn, I just can’t bear to throw them away.
Would you keep old things for a long time? Why?
Yes, definitely, as long as they carry emotional significance. I tend to hold onto items like old travel souvenirs or handwritten notes because they evoke fond memories that digital files just can’t replace.
Where do you usually keep things you need?
I usually keep my daily essentials, like my keys, wallet, and phone, right by the entryway on a dedicated organizer tray. That way, I can easily grab them on my way out without scrambling around at the last minute.
🆕新题 · Lost and found 遗失与找回
What will you do if you find something lost by others?
If it’s something valuable like a phone or wallet, I’d hand it over to the nearest security guard or lost-and-found office right away. That way, the owner has a much better chance of tracking it down.
Do you report to the police when finding something lost by others? Why?
Only if it’s a high-value or sensitive item, like a wallet, laptop, or official ID. In those cases, taking it to the police is the safest bet because they have the official authority and resources to trace the owner and keep the property secure.
Have you ever lost things?
Yes, all the time! I can be a bit absent-minded, so I frequently misplace small essentials like my wireless earbuds or keys. Nine times out of ten, they turn up under the sofa cushions or in a coat pocket, but it’s still pretty frustrating.
Will you post on social media if you lose your item?
Yes, definitely, especially if it’s a high-value or sentimental item. Social media has a huge reach, so posting a quick description in local community groups or tagging neighborhood pages makes it much easier to spread the word and hopefully track it down.
Have you ever lost your keys?
Oh, plenty of times! I’m pretty prone to misplacing them, especially when I’m in a rush. Just last week, I spent a good twenty minutes hunting for my house keys, only to find them sitting right at the bottom of my backpack.
What do people usually buy on the street market?
Mainly fresh produce like locally grown fruits, vegetables, and regional delicacies. People also love grabbing street food or quick snacks from food stalls because they’re cooked right in front of you and offer an authentic local flavor.
Do you prefer to go shopping in the shopping mall or on the street market?
Definitely shopping malls. I prefer the climate-controlled environment, especially in bad weather. Plus, malls offer a convenient one-stop shopping experience where I can grab groceries, browse brand-name stores, and grab a meal all under one roof.
When was the last time you went to a street market?
Actually, just last weekend. I dropped by a local night market with a few friends to grab some street food and light snacks. It was super crowded, but the energetic atmosphere and delicious food made it totally worth it.
Are there many street markets in China?
Yes, absolutely. They’re everywhere in China, especially night markets and local wet markets. From major tier-one cities to smaller towns, street markets are an integral part of daily life where locals go to buy fresh groceries or enjoy late-night snacks with friends.
Is there an advertisement that made an impression on you when you were a child?
Yes, definitely! There was a hilarious chocolate commercial with a super catchy slogan that always aired during weekend cartoons. Even today, whenever I see that brand on a store shelf, that cheerful jingle instantly pops into my head.
Do you see a lot of advertising on trains or other transport?
Yes, absolutely. Public transport hubs are practically plastered with ads. From poster panels along escalator walls to digital screens inside subway cars, commercial advertising is virtually impossible to miss during my daily commute.
Do you often see advertisements when you are on your phone or computer?
Constantly, to be honest. Whether I’m scrolling through social media on my phone or reading the news on my laptop, targeted ads pop up everywhere, often tailored specifically to my recent search history.
Do you like advertisements?
Not particularly, to be honest. I find most advertisements quite intrusive, especially when they interrupt a video I’m watching or pop up on my screen. Many of them try to create artificial needs and encourage impulse buying, which I try to avoid.
What kind of advertising do you like?
I really enjoy creative commercials that focus on clever storytelling and humor rather than aggressive selling. When an ad feels like a well-crafted mini-movie or has a witty punchline, it becomes genuinely entertaining rather than just an annoying interruption.
Is it easy for you to remember people’s names?
Honestly, no. I often struggle with this due to cognitive overload during initial introductions. When meeting someone new, my attention is usually divided between processing social cues and maintaining the conversation, which hinders memory encoding. Unless I make a conscious effort to repeat their name immediately to reinforce auditory retention, it tends to slip my mind quite quickly.
How do you usually remember new names?
I rely primarily on active mental association and immediate verbal reinforcement. Upon introduction, I make a point of repeating the person’s name aloud during the initial exchange to initiate memory encoding. Simultaneously, I anchor their name to a distinct physical feature or familiar concept using simple mnemonic strategies. This dual approach converts a transient auditory cue into a far more durable memory trace for long-term retention.
Do you think it is important to remember people’s names?
Indubitably. Remembering an individual’s name is paramount because a name is intrinsically tied to personal identity and self-worth. In both social and professional contexts, accurately recalling someone’s name provides immediate psychological validation, signaling genuine attentiveness and respect. This subtle cognitive effort serves as an effective catalyst for interpersonal rapport, helping to foster relational trust and reduce social friction far more effectively than generic pleasantries.
What would you do if someone cannot remember your name?
If someone forgot my name, I would respond with equanimity and a touch of self-deprecating humor to instantly alleviate their social anxiety. I believe in practicing empathetic reframing, recognizing that memory lapses are a universal consequence of cognitive overload rather than a reflection of disrespect. I would proactively reintroduce myself with a warm smile to eliminate any awkwardness and restore interpersonal comfort, maintaining the flow of our interaction without a hint of friction.
Do you wear glasses?
Yes, I rely on corrective lenses daily to manage a mild refractive error, specifically myopia. They effectively mitigate asthenopia during prolonged screen exposure while optimizing my visual acuity for cognitively demanding work.
Do people around you wear glasses?
Yes, overwhelmingly so. Given the substantial cognitive load and prolonged screen exposure inherent in my professional environment, there is an extraordinarily high prevalence rate of myopia, making corrective eyewear a near-universal necessity to mitigate digital eye strain.
Do you think glasses look fashionable?
Absolutely. Eyewear has evolved beyond mere refractive correction into a potent aesthetic signifier. By enhancing perceived competence and framing facial symmetry, fashionable frames allow individuals to project intellectual authority while engaging in subtle identity signaling.
Would you spend a lot of money on a pair of glasses?
Yes. I view high-end eyewear not as discretionary consumption, but as a strategic investment in human capital and ocular ergonomics. Considering daily usage, the amortized cost is minimal relative to the gains in optical precision, visual fatigue mitigation, and long-term physiological well-being.
Do you often feel tired?
To be honest, yes, quite often. Between my packed daily routine and staying up late to finish tasks, I frequently find myself completely drained by mid-week. I’m trying to prioritize a proper sleep schedule, but it’s definitely easier said than done.

How did you learn to be polite as a child?
Mostly through my parents leading by example and constantly reinforcing good manners. They made sure I always said ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ at home, so practicing basic courtesy quickly became second nature to me.

Absolutely. Courtesy acts as a social lubricant that eases daily interactions and helps prevent unnecessary conflict. Treating others with basic respect, even in brief encounters, fosters mutual goodwill and creates a much more harmonious atmosphere.

My parents, without a doubt, particularly my mother. She was quite strict about basic etiquette when I was growing up, and she consistently modeled good manners by treating everyone with kindness, making it natural for me to follow suit.

How do people in your culture show good manners towards others?

To unwind, I typically take a stroll in a nearby park or listen to instrumental music to decompress. Disconnecting from digital screens and stepping into a tranquil environment helps me recharge my batteries after a demanding day.

Undoubtedly. Modern students face immense academic pressure, making adequate downtime essential to prevent mental burnout. Sufficient relaxation doesn’t just safeguard their psychological well-being; it actually restores cognitive focus, ultimately enabling higher academic efficiency.
